Intentional Portraits…
Ansel Adams often answered the question "why are there no people in your pictures?" with a quip 'there are always two people in every photograph, you as the viewer and me as the photographer'. These images are not portraiture in the strictest sense, but an attempt to include people in a deliberate fashion as the key element of the image. They are the next step in the evolutionary growth of my work from the inclusion of people as incidental to being the reason for having captured it. Enjoy.
